Sports Activities
The University Sports Complex is a necessary detente site where all staff and faculty meets in conviviality, outside work and/or studies. It spreads over an area of 8 hectares and has the following operational facilities:
- 01 football/rugby pitch with grandstand with a 500 seat-capacity,
- 01 A tarred outdoor handball ground,
- 01 A tarred outdoor basketball ground,
- 02 A tarred outdoor volleyball ground,
- 01 A multi-sport indoor hall with an 800 seat-capacity,
- 01 An Administrative building,
- 02 An Athletics Track Newly renovated,
- 01 A Parking Space,
- 01 A wild wooded hill.

- Athletics (track races, throws, jumps, etc.),

- Racquet Sports: (Ping-pong, Tennis and Badminton).
HUMAN RESOURCES:
Each Specific Educational Activity has a staff of supervisors. These are usually professors or supervisors of Physical Education of the Ministry of Youth and Sport. This staff is overseen by a University Department of physical and sports activities on site. The Service manages the activities stated above and caters for the administrative and financial aspects of the sports practiced.
TRAINING:
Each year, the presidency of the University, in collaboration with some partners, organizes training courses for the benefit of PE teachers, coaches and sports technicians. The themes are varied and cover several sports.
COMPETITIONS:
The sports competitions start from November to June. 6 major national events are programmed by the Royal Moroccan Federation of University Sport; these are:
- The Football Throne Cup,
- The Cross Country National University Championship,
- The Sports Team National University Championship,
- The Athletics National University Championship,
- The Rugby seven National Championship.
Multidisciplinary national and international tournaments:
To prepare these great national events and in order to qualify, the University Sport Department organizes the following local qualifying competitions:
- The local sports team championship,
- The local cross country championship,
- The local athletics championship.
Other tournaments are also programmed, namely:
- The Sub-Saharan African Students tournament,
- The Rugby Annual Tournament (sometimes international).
Refereeing is generally ensured at the local level by students, and at the regional level by referees of different oriental leagues who are paid to officiate.
